Kasey Krings, FNP-C

Kasey studied nursing at UNC Charlotte and started work in intermediate care within Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, dedicating three years to this role. Then she went back to school for her master's in nursing at Duke University and became a family nurse practitioner. She has been working since graduation for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist within their adult internal medicine clinic in downtown Winston-Salem, passionately serving the uninsured/low-income population. She has been focused on treating acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, depression/anxiety, etc., for the last 6 years and loves it. Also, Kasey enjoys being a preceptor to students as well. 

She has 2 girls, 6 and 4 years old. She loves animals and has 4 dogs, 1 cat, and a horse. She is constantly trying to learn new things. One of the things she is trying to learn is roller skate dancing, which is not going very well. She also loves hiking and reading as well.
